Vetter_Huber's debut album Eskalation im Paradies is an approximation to abysmal states of being. The 11 songs of the album question mental and physical extreme experiences. In his texts, Patrik Huber aims at the interstices of shared experiences and channels the unpredictable into the minimalist and industrial music of Jens Vetter. The noise- and pattern-based collages condense around Huber's lyrics, playing with motifs from eighties pop, techno and hits in different musical approaches: monotone-recitative, noise, bodymusic.

The monotonous opening track Take Me shows rhythmically monotonous the delusional search as one of Patrik Huber's main motifs, which will permeate through the entire album. Songs such as Amphetamine, Passion and Karma describe the disorientation in a consumer-dominated reality.

Vetter_Huber are Jens Vetter and Patrik Huber. In the style of the golden era of (proto-) techno between Absolute Body Control and Cybotron, influenced by Industrial and EBM, the musical focus of Vetter_Huber is on reviving musical elements such as kick drum, basslines and modest melodies. In addition, there is a will to staged performance, reminiscent of punk and new wave, but without copying or reciting it as a platitude. The instrumentation of Vetter_Huber consists solely of a music program written by Jens Vetter himself, controlled on a laptop by means of keyboard and motor fader. Patrik Huber's texts outline dark abysses in the tension between them. Abstract scenes form themselves as states of being, moving away from a classical narrative structure. The result is a performative club ritual: Vetter_Huber.
