Tsewang Namgyal is a Tibetan-born finance professional and community leader whose life bridges refugee roots, Wall Street leadership, and contemplative practice. Raised in Dharamsala and later building a career in global finance at one of the largest banks in the world, he has worked to integrate mindfulness and compassion into high-pressure financial environments through initiatives like Mindful on Wall Street.
Beyond his corporate role, he is deeply committed to Tibetan community development. He serves on the board of The Tibet Fund and the Mind & Life Institute, supporting education, cultural preservation, and the dialogue between science and contemplative wisdom. He has also been actively involved in reimagining and revitalizing the Doeguling Tibetan settlement in South India, advocating for sustainable, community-driven development.
At the heart of his work is a clear conviction: that business, compassion, and cultural responsibility are not opposing forces — but can be aligned to create long-term, meaningful impact.
