देशभर में इस वक्त केंद्र सरकार द्वारा प्रस्तावित वक्फ संशोधन विधेयक को लेकर चर्चाएं जारी हैं। संसद के निचले सदन लोकसभा में बुधवार को वक्फ संशोधन विधेयक पेश कर दिया गया है और इस पर चर्चा हो रही है। माना जा रहा है कि सरकार आसानी से इस बिल को राज्यसभा और लोकसभा दोनों में ही पास करवा लेगी। हालांकि, विपक्षी दल और AIMPLB समेत कई मुस्लिम संगठन इस बिल का जमकर विरोध कर रहे हैं।

Discussions are going on across the country regarding the Waqf Amendment Bill proposed by the Central Government. The Waqf Amendment Bill has been introduced in the lower house of Parliament, Lok Sabha, on Wednesday and it is being discussed. It is believed that the government will easily get this bill passed in both Rajya Sabha and Lok Sabha. However, opposition parties and many Muslim organizations including AIMPLB are strongly opposing this bill.
