This month, we honor of the life and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Throughout the evening, we are guided through four intentional pourings of water: each inviting reflection, remembrance, and moral courage.
Rooted in Dr. King’s prophetic invocation of Amos, this ritual calls us to the unfinished work before us:
“We will not be satisfied until justice rolls down like waters
and righteousness like a mighty stream.”
May these waters move us toward justice, toward righteousness, and toward one another.
