I was browsing eBay one night when I found this strange HO scale project locomotive listed. It seems that the previous owner had given it the Santa Fe's paint scheme from the 1950s and did some custom wiring for lighting.
At some point along the way this locomotive must have had a decoder however by the time I got it that seemed to have been removed. The lights also all needed to be replaced so I had my work cut out for me.
To start off I worked on all the mechanical aspects of this locomotive and then moved on to adding brand new LED lights and couplers to the engine.
