There is so many different ways to use paper straws on handmade cards & for other crafts.
I love these UTOPIA white straws because they are very durable & easy to decorate & paint. I purchased mine from Amazon (A box of 250 x 5.5” for under £5) here:

I use furniture chalk paint for most of my card crafts due to its dull textured finish which is effective for shabby, vintage designs. I cut up a bath sponge to use to apply the paint - for speed & to add a little more texture.
