The USA Science Festival turns 15!

Описание: It all started when our founder, Larry Bock, had a big idea:
“...as a society, we get what we celebrate… So why not have the largest celebration of science and engineering in the United States?”

In 2010, Larry launched the very first USA Science & Engineering Festival Expo on the National Mall, in partnership with @lockheedmartin. By 2012, the Festival Expo grew to fill all 2.3 million square feet of the Washington DC Convention Center, welcoming 350,000+ attendees. Over the years, our Expo stages featured science celebrities like the Mythbusters, @mikerowe, and @stevespanlger, as well as unforgettable stage shows from @tmbgofficial, @jason_latimer, @billnye @stevespangler @hankgreen and even a live feed to the @iss. Thousands of organizations hosted interactive exhibits. Thank you to all who joined us to bring STEM to life.
All of our Expos were FREE weekend events that kicked off with Sneak Peek Friday, a special day for over 75,000 K-12 students and military families to experience the Expo before the general public.
