Al-Quds Day was established in 1979 after the Iranian Revolution overthrew the Pahlavi dynasty. It is now celebrated worldwide on the last Friday of Ramadan as a day of solidarity with the Palestinian people.
Despite the US-Israeli war on Iran, this year was no different and the streets of Tehran were flooded with demonstrators who expressed their solidarity with the people of Palestine and their rejection to US-Israeli attacks on all peoples of the region.
