This is my 106th week of doing the Card of the Week series. I have (3) cards for this week!
All (3) cards are of a quarterback for the Washington Commanders of the National Football League (NFL). He is a dual-threat player adept at both passing and running with the ball. He played three seasons of college football for the Arizona State Sun Devils (2019–2021) and two for the LSU Tigers (2022–2023). He won the 2023 Heisman Trophy, among other player of the year awards, after scoring 50 touchdowns with nearly 5,000 total yards.
He was selected by the Commanders with the second overall pick in the 2024 NFL draft. His rookie season is regarded as among the greatest in NFL history, with him setting several rookie quarterback records and leading the Commanders to their first National Football Conference (NFC) Championship Game appearance since 1991. The season also saw him throw a game-winning Hail Mary pass, a rare feat in football, on a play known as the Hail Maryland.
