Meet ALEX ALESSI; “This was one of those’ best of all worlds’ interviews for me. Alex is a writer, producer, director, and actor. And a Jersey guy. A consummate man of film. It’s been his life for the past two decades. There’s radiation emanating from him. Film. Indie. Casting. Production team. Microbudget. Homebody. (the name of his new film) As he eloquently said, “It was time to take a chance on myself.” I wrote that down while we were on camera. Profound as Alex is. Away from the camera, he’s a drummer and feels the flow. I asked him if this translates to his work. Of course it does. I loved hearing about the mechanics and eventualities of bringing acclaimed actor Richard Kind into the cast of ‘Homebody.’ Alex is a matrix of energy, mechanics, and passion for film. BIO Alex is a New Jersey native who has worked within the indie film community for the better part of a decade. He is a writer, producer, director and actor who stars in his latest feature film 'Homebody'.
Homebody Logline: While living and working from his parent's home a man comes to a cross road in his life, having to confront his career, his family and an unexpected love.

Homebody Synopsis: Lee has been stuck, he's a homebody, he lives with his parents while working remotely from home for a job that doesn't pay enough to get his own place, & he is still getting over his failed relationship with his ex, Cal. When his family decides to sell their house, Lee must embark on a trek to New York City for a new job and a new outlook on life.
