The Nuuk Fjord (Nuup Kangerlua or Godthåbsfjorden) is a vast network of fjords, sounds, and islands. The Greenlandic capital of Nuuk sits on the southwestern portion of the fjord and in the northeastern section, the Greenland ice sheet delivers small and medium-sized icebergs into the fjord.
Even at full speed in a fast boat as ours, there are hours from one end to the other.
