I am NOT an expert at using the claymore, but i do understand the basics and I know it can be very intimidating to figure it out. People think it is too slow, and thus it must be the worst weapon or that it "balances out" with the other weapons.

But the reality is the claymore generally out preforms all other weapons on DPS (damage per second) for single targets. It even does more damage than the unique weapons a mythic pair partner has (RIP my abysswalker guns).

It seems unbelievable but once you watch this video you'll see how to use the claymore and once you use it you'll be a convert soon enough. The damage numbers are just bonkers!

Although it is an official space, i would NOT recommend the official reddit. The moderators there do not seem to care about helping the users in any way. They even banned me from posting this video there, so it doesn't seem to be a good resource.
