Finland Joins Hands With India! Modi’s Big Strategic Deal Europe Supports India
India and Finland have officially upgraded their ties to a Strategic Partnership after talks between Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Finland President Alexander Stubb.
Both countries signed multiple MoUs focusing on AI, 6G, semiconductors, quantum technology, and clean energy — key sectors shaping the future global tech race.
The partnership also highlights existing cooperation. Finnish telecom giant Nokia has connected millions of Indians with its network technology. Finnish expertise also contributed to the construction of the world’s tallest railway bridge — the Chenab Rail Bridge — and the development of the world’s largest bamboo-to-bioethanol refinery in Numaligarh.
Finland’s president even praised India’s diplomacy and backed India’s claim for a permanent seat in the UN Security Council.
