Sheikha Moza bint Nasser, Chairperson of Education Above All and UN SDG Advocate, visited the First Assalam school on Sunday.
During her visit, Sheikha Moza met with students displaced by the Gaza war, and highlighted the importance of educating and empowering those affected by conflict.
The Qatari royal also held a private meeting with Brazil's First Lady Rosangela Lula da Silva, and discussed Education Above All's projects in marginalised regions of Brazil and efforts to protect education in conflict zones.
