Tehran hits 8 US Military bases with retaliatory strikes in Kuwait & Bahrain amid fragile ceasefire

Описание: Iran targeted 8 U.S. military bases in the Middle East with retaliatory strikes. On June 28, U.S. launched a strike on key Iranian military sites in response to Tehran’s drone attack. The strike was launched on U.S. President Trump’s direction following Iranian drone attack on oil tanker in Hormuz. After America’s tit for tat response, Iran launched multiple missiles and drones toward neighboring countries. Iranian missiles and drones hit Bahrain and Kuwait, as per what a U.S. official told Reuters. As per the U.S. official no U.S. casualties have been reported so far even as the event unfolds. Official further added that there was no major impact or damage to the U.S. facilities in the Middle East. Meanwhile, Official spox of IRGC HQ, Ibrahim al-Fiqar said that Iran will regulate maritime traffic in the Hormuz. In a series of post on ‘X’, he said that violation of the ceasefire will be met with a crushing response. Fiqar made a bold remark on Hormuz traffic control, said ‘under the Islamabad understanding, Iran will regulate maritime traffic’. He added that, "this morning, US enemy forces attacked five Iranian coastal sites under the pretext of intercepting a violating vessel". On the drone and missile attack after US’ 2nd military strike, Fiqar called the Iranian attack “decisive response to the recent American attacks”. Notably, he informed that Iran conducted joint op targeting 8 US military sites at Ali Al Salem Air Base in Kuwait & Fifth Fleet in Bahrain. The Kuwaiti Army said they were confronting hostile missile and drone attacks. Bahrain's Ministry of Interior stated their alarm siren had been activated and urged citizens to remain calm.
