এসময় এসডিজি অর্জনের পাশাপাশি অন্তর্ভুক্তিমুলক অর্থনৈতিক উন্নয়নের স্বার্থে ঋণ প্রদানকারী সংগঠনগুলোর কার্যক্রমে আরও স্বচ্ছতা আনতে হবে বলেও মন্তব্য করেন পরিকল্পনামন্ত্রী। সেমিনারে আগামী ৫ বছরে নতুন করে ৩০ লাখ মানুষকে আর্থিকভাবে স্বাবলম্বী করার পরিকল্পনা তুলে ধরে ক্ষুদ্র অর্থায়ন নিয়ন্ত্রক প্রতিষ্ঠান (এমআরএ)।

এসময় এনজিওগুলোকে গ্রামাঞ্চলে কম সুদে উৎপাদনশীল খাতে দীর্ঘমেয়াদি ঋণ প্রদানে প্রয়োজনীয় পদক্ষেপ নেয়ারও আহ্বান জানান পরিকল্পনামন্ত্রী।

Planning Minister MA Mannan said there is a need for reform of microcredit and recovery activities across the country. In a seminar on the issue and the possibility of microcredit activities to achieve sustainable development target in the city's CIRDAP auditorium on Thursday (07 February), he said.

In this regard, the Minister said the government will bring transparency in the activities of the lending organizations for achieving SDGs as well as inclusive economic development. Small funding regulatory body (MRA) raises plans to financially self-reliant to three million new people in the next five years in the seminar.

In this regard, the Minister urged NGOs to take necessary steps to provide long-term loan to the rural areas in the interest of the productive sector.
