Large format 3D printed bumper prototype

Описание: 🚗 A full scale bumper is printed on a large format FDM system for quick body fit and mounting studies. Shells 2 to 3 mm with local ribs at bosses keep stiffness without mass. Segments are bonded with solvent or plastic welding, then seam filled before sanding for uniform gloss.

🧪 Process parameters: 0.8 to 1.2 mm nozzle, 0.4 to 0.6 mm layer height, 15 to 25 percent infill, PETG or ASA for heat and UV. Slots and datum tabs are modeled for adjustment and metrology. On car checks confirm grille gaps, headlamp cutouts and crash box clearance before committing tooling.
