The meeting, taking place at the US State Department, includes Israeli Ambassador Yechiel Leiter and Lebanese Ambassador Nada Hamadeh Moawad, as well as US Ambassador to Lebanon Michel Issa. Even before the meeting, the pro-Iranian Hezbollah, which is not represented, had rejected the holding of these talks.
