Meaning segments were recorded separately and will be presented together as a finished run. This is not meant to be compared to a single segment run and exists only as a proof of concept for the route.

I chose to do this first run segmented because of how lengthy it is, and segmenting it allows me to play a bit of it every day and take notes on what can be improved on future runs. Not to mention I have work and need to sleep too.

Timer starts when selecting New Game and ends on the fade to black after the results screen in the 20F regular final boss. For the purposes of this segmented run, time was paused after the "Game was saved" message appears on screen, and is resumed when selecting the save file on the title screen.

I go out of my way to collect treasures since it will allow me to get the "Open 256 chests" achievement by the endgame, which gives you 50k money that is VERY necessary to beat the game underlevelled. I also grind a bit on each floor to make sure I level up naturally and use the exp bonuses that come from just battling while exploring the map.

This video covers the fifth stratum, where the trash is a joke thanks to Nitori and Iku being completely broken. Everything is weak to CLD so Nitori can OHKO pretty much anything here, except for the super high DEF stuff, which Iku has an easy time cleaning up with her area MND-ignoring Monk area attack.

Except for Memorized Knowledge, every single boss fight here is cheesed in some form, which doesn't mean the fights are easy, they're just abusing some of the game's mechanics. The Azure Giant dies to DTH just like the Mirror and Magatama, and Yuyuko/Yukari die to Parsee's Jealously of the Kind nuke.

In order to execute the JotKaL nuke with Parsee, we must recruit Yuuka so we have access to Beauty of Nature - a spell that increases ailment duration by 25%. Pair that with Satori's Spell Recollection and you can boost the ailments on the enemies by 56% in 1 turn. Add Kourin's efficient switching and Instant Attack switching and you can increase the ailment value VERY fast. When the TRR value is high enough, Parsee comes in, gets buffed and uses Jealously of the Kind and Lovely to one shot the boss.

The strat above is really hard to execute since the boss is still attacking you, which means you need to juggle healing and swapping characters, making sure Yuuka, Satori and Parsee saty alive. This is specially hard for Yukari since she has access to Black Universe, which reduces HP to 1, lowers SPD and PARs. Sometimes that fight just becomes unwinnable.
