Video from the model railroad display that we set up each year for our community Christmas craft weekend. This is not a permanent display. It is set up in our 2 car+ garage for 1 weekend. The trains in the videos are G-scale (Large scale 1:22). Since we live in the town where the Climax Locomotive (logging) was invented, we run several Bachman Spectrum Climax models. As you watch the winter scenes, several of the buildings are models from Spartansburg in about 1910- built by the display operators-based on postcards and photos of those buildings.
We hope you enjoy the video, and, if you are in the area during the 1st weekend in December, look for the signs for Spartansburg Station and come visit us.
