In this video, I show you how to thin out a bamboo clump and remove the runners to create a nice airy bamboo plant. I will remove dead, dying and crossing canes to keep the plant healthy, give it more light and improve its appearance. I will also be showing you how to remove rhizomes and runners and how to stop them from spreading. This will create three distinct, tall, straight-looking plants that will be easier to maintain going forward.
