We continue in Acts 9:32–43, where we see Peter traveling among believers when God works powerful miracles through him. Aeneas, who had been paralyzed for eight years, is healed in the name of Jesus Christ. Later, Peter is called to Joppa where Tabitha (Dorcas), a faithful disciple known for her good works, has died. Through prayer and complete dependence on God, Peter witnesses her being raised back to life. These miracles lead many people to believe in the Lord — not because of Peter, but because of God’s power.
This passage reminds us that miracles are never in human hands — they belong to God alone. Our role is obedience, prayer, and trust. When we fully submit to God and leave outcomes in His hands, He decides whether healing, waiting, or something greater is needed. True faith isn’t demanding miracles — it’s trusting God’s will, even when we don’t understand it
