Описание: The automated applications are becoming more and more important than the traditional application in warehouses and supply chain operation. Stacker cranes, known as automated storage/retrieval systems (AS/RS), are designed to transfer load units (pallets, containers etc.) in the rack area of a warehouse. A stacker crane moves in an aisle along a rail mounted in the floor, while the guiding profile is mounted at the top of a rack. The total storage capacity of a single aisle depends on the number of compartments along the rack length and the number of compartment levels.

In systems with a single deep, priority is given to the speed of the system over the total storage capacity, while in double deep systems, an excellent balance is achieved between storage capacity and handling speed.
