I don’t give out the raw footage for a few reasons. In order to make the absolute best wedding film possible, we shoot in a very large file size in a flat color profile to make sure we can create the most vivid and beautiful images of their wedding. You need expensive software to handle the files and edit the footage and an extra hard drive to store it. After all that is done, I export the video into a friendly file size ready for viewing. Also, in order to get that perfect shot that goes in the highlight, there is a lot of setup adjusting equipment and focus and position which causes the camera to be very shaky before dialing in the perfect shot that does make it into the wedding film. By the time you receive the final film I’ve already searched through the hours of footage to get the best parts of the day and order them with the music to make the film you will love.
