Gibbs (Mark Harmon) and Kate (Sasha Alexander) have boarded a submariner to transport a body, Travis, who is in the freezer, and to track down the location of the sarin gas. At first, the two think the gas is no longer on board. However, when a mess specialist arrives with ice cream for them, Gibbs figures out that Travis didn't commit suicide to give up. It was his backup plan all along. The gas is inside Travis, who is about to blow at any moment. What's the quickest way to get a body full of deadly gas off a submariner? Torpedo, of course.
