The exhibition features a range of curious "artifacts”, including a six-meter-long mock fossil of the mythical Merlion, cyborg cockroaches used for search and rescue, and robotic swans designed to monitor water quality. These exhibits, framed as historical artifacts in a parody of a traditional natural history museum, celebrate the ingenuity and unconventional solutions that have driven Singapore's progress.

It's a testament to the idea that a lack of resources can spark incredible creativity and innovation; and how design can tell a nation's story, looking back at the past while sparking conversations about what the future might hold.
