"yamano", located in the alleys near Zhongshan Elementary School Station in Taipei, is an intimate omakase restaurant led by Chef Keitaro Yamano, a Fukuoka-born chef known for his refined sense of seasonality and culinary precision.
Formerly part of the Michelin-selected restaurant ISAGI, Chef Yamano killfully merges the elegance of French culinary techniques with the philosophy of Japanese kaiseki. His creations are inspired by the shifting seasons, allowing each ingredient to express its truest, most natural essence.
The dining space embraces a modern wabi-sabi aesthetic, featuring a minimalist yet warm design centered around a spacious U-shaped wooden counter, offering a serene and immersive dining experience.
You can choose from a 6-course, 9-course, or tempura-focused omakase menu. The menu changes monthly, showcasing the chef’s passion for seasonality and his continual exploration of flavor and form.
