The silent movement of this woman with the issue of blood, is used as an object lesson for the lost. The woman had taken advice and medicine from all quarters, and to no avail. Here Spurgeon directs us away from people, and their advice. He directs us- not to himself, or his church members- but directly to his Master.
We feel moment by moment the urgency of salvation. This is a matter which must not be shelved, or even postponed.
