In this #tutorial , I’ll show you how to create a realistic projector light beam effect in #3dsmax using a simple box geometry and the Corona Volumetric Material. This is a great trick for adding cinematic atmosphere to your scenes.
We’ll model a volume shape, that starts from the projector lens and extends to the screen. Then, we’ll apply a Corona Volumetric Material and adjust the Distance parameter to control the beam’s light density. It’s an efficient way to simulate foggy, illuminated rays like in movies or theaters.
