2020 Democratic presidential candidate Mike Bloomberg is defending ads from his campaign that tie him to former President Barack Obama. Former Vice President Joe Biden has criticized the ads, saying the two men did not have a strong connection. Bloomberg told PBS NewsHour anchor and managing editor Judy Woodruff during a Feb. 27 interview that the ads were an accurate portrayal of his relationship with Obama. “We did a lot of things together over eight years. And he's a friend, and I've talked to him a number of times since then, socialized,” Bloomberg said.
