Hi everyone. With Spring around the corner, I wanted to do a quick demo this week to show how I make flower paintings more interesting. My secret, don't have them all facing forward.
By adding some variety to the direction of the flowers, you make the painting look and feel more natural. This can be done when you're sketching out your painting or by adding paint to create the look.
