Thank you once again to Saber Interactive for sponsoring this video. It is insane to think that they thought I would be the right person to review their game but none the less, I am grateful.

Firstly. There is a main reason as to why this game has had such a strong hold on me as of late. The money they gave me did help but more importantly, it felt like returning home. What I really mean here is that I had been looking for a game that match the fun factor and immersion that one of my favorite zombies games left behind. You could say it left me for dead. Im sorry. But no, Left 4 Dead 1 & 2 truly shaped my childhood and were the first zombie games that truly started my obsession with the genre. So the fact that there was never a left 4 dead 3, broke my heart. But then came World War Z. The closest thing to a spiritual successor I have ever experienced.

What I had seen that was missing from a ton of zombie games was the fun factor of killing said zombies. But this game does not have that problem. I found myself wanting to go to different maps, not for the environment, but to see what new sandbox the devs cooked up with their zombie dopamine loop. Boy did they deliver.

Then to make matters even BETTER, they drop an actual appropriate and amazing dlc where I get to play as Rick Grimes?! Yeah I ain't going outside ever again. The amount of time and respect they gave The Walking Dead IP as well as their own truly resonated with me.

I think this is a great game and an amazing expansion. I also think you'll like it yourself.
