Описание: A process to produce ready-to-cook (RTC) Iron Fortified Rice (IFR) from broken rice kernels has been developed in Food Chemistry & Technology Laboratory of Agricultural & Food Engineering Department, Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur. The desired amounts of fortificants that are iron, folic acid & vitamin B12 are uniformly mixed with rice flour and conditioned. This conditioned mixture is fed into a twin screw extruder wherein a rice shaped die is used to manufacture Fortified Rice Kernels. The machinery required for the manufacture of the Iron Fortified Rice is indigenously designed and fabricated
