In this episode, I tackle a challenging BMW M4 recovery story that’s every owner’s worst nightmare. Claire, one of our subscribers, reached out after returning from holiday to find her BMW M4 with a completely dead battery. After hours of trickle charging, the car started—but that was just the beginning of a series of frustrating issues.

⚠️ Ignition Faults & Battery Warnings: The M4 started throwing up ignition faults and battery warning lights on the dashboard, making every drive stressful. Claire took her M4 to a BMW dealer, who recommended replacing the battery—but even with a new battery, the same issues persisted.

🔧 Botched Garage Repairs & ECU Damage: Claire then tried her luck with a local garage, where things went from bad to worse. The mechanics damaged the engine ECU plugs, leaving the car completely immobilized. Although she drove the car in, Claire was shocked when the garage called to say it wouldn’t start anymore and asked her to pick it up in this unrepairable state!
