Описание: Hey, are you a sesquipedalian person? By the way, if you are someone who suffers from ‘hippopotomonstrosesquippedaliophobia’, then this is not your cup of tea!

This year, GSIS hosted the Spelling Bee Championship 2023 - a new initiative aimed at bolstering student engagement with the English language. It was an absolutely wonderful treat for vocabulary enthusiasts and lovers of English language, as twenty-one of our brilliant finalists, belonging to different age groups, united by an infectious enthusiasm for contests, an unquenchable yearning to learn new things, and above all, a passion for English, showcased a spectacular performance in the competition. Rajvir Chordia ( IB, 9th grade) secured the first place in the competition. Zackary Jacob (6th standard IGCSE) & Ved ( 7th standard, IGCSE) bagged the second place, followed by Ateev in third place. The competition was hosted by Mr. Aditya Sundar, Teacher in English. The judges of the competition were Ms. Sohini Ghosh and Ms. Pooja, teachers in our English Department. Hats off to you, champions!
