After the challenging 11th hole, the 12th hole at Carlisle Golf Club offers a welcome respite. This modest par five is reachable in two for longer hitters, but a cleverly positioned fairway ditch at 260-280 yards demands strategic thinking. The camber on the fairway from right to left requires a second or third shot to be aimed up higher on the right-hand side, allowing the ball to skip up to the putting surface. A single bunker on the right-hand side of the green awaits wayward approaches.
