I was given this lovely 1987 Rare Raleigh Maverick Metropolitan after the show, after the seat post got damaged he said i could have it, so we are gonna try and save this piece of history. the bike was only made for 1 year and is a cross between the early ATB``s and a Roadster, predating the Gemini and Pioneer, arguably Raleighs first foray into the hybrid bike, with a more upright seating position, alloy rims and pannier rack, a first step into the worlds first Hybrid, years ahead of its time.
