The Italian Air Force looks back on eight months leading NATO's Air Policing mission at Siauliai Air Base, Lithuania. From September 2020 to the end of April 2021, they safeguarded the airspace on the Baltic Sea shores. During approx. 40 alert scrambles, countless training scramble and practice exercises they contributed to keep the skies and the populations safe and secure on NATO's northeastern flank.
