Cllr Ayoub Khan is a barrister. In this speech he makes a compelling case, on behalf of Aston residents, to address the serious problems that affect so many people in Aston.
Issues such as crime and anti-social behaviour are magnified to dangerous levels in this ward. Cllr Khan reflects on the fly-tipping that can be seen from space, the HMO's that lead other locals to feel they cannot leave their homes, and the absence of funding to resolve these problems.
Cllr Khan invited the leader of the council to visit the area to see for himself what conditions people are living in. He urged the council to put aside party colours and do the right thing for the people
