So the box on wheels now has a machine on top.
After looking around to what was available as desktop CNC router, I bought an i2R4 CNC from StoneyCNC.
A hugely strong and rigid machine that even arrived completely assembled. I'm looking forward to getting some production done on this.
The dust extraction needs setting up and the box needs doors and drawers but I'm a happy camper so far.
This isn't in any way a paid promotion for StoneyCNC. I bought it fair and square but I've been very impressed with their helpfulness and service, despite me buying what is essentially an entry level machine.
