Описание: Shilpa Maskey is a nepalese actress,model and dancer. Her first nepali debut movie was ‘Break Up’. Her second and third movies were ‘Kagaz Patra’ and ‘Sano Mann’. She has done many music videos, photo shoots, films, advertisements internationally and nationally in a short span of time. She considers ‘Doctor Strange’ as a huge achievement in her career.

She started her journey as a dancer. Her mother has been her biggest and strongest inspiration. While others wanted to become doctors and engineeer, Shilpa always wanted to be a dancer or a dance teacher. She went to UK for her higher studies but her passion for dance was always with her. Since she was an introvert kid from childhood,she had only a few friends. Sometimes,she found herself as a lost kid because the only thing she was good at was her dancing. She recalls a famous quote, ‘If your heart really wants to do something, then the whole universe aspire you to make it into reality’,which she connects it with her story.

On her journey of chasing her passion, she got opportunities which led her to play a role as a Burmese girl in Hollywood’s short film,’Shooting an Elephant’.She also landed herself a role in Hollywood Movie ‘Doctor Strange’.She believes that Doctor Strange was a changing point for her because she got to interact with many people and hear their stories which inspired her to do something more in life which led her to the field of acting career. It was then she decided to come back home.

She says,I‘m happy that I took the decision to accept my dream and the acceptance of the struggle as well. I’m still trying to do my best and be a better person. If you have a dream try at least once, you might fail but it’s not the end of the world.
