Описание: The Guangzhou Metro is new, clean, efficient, safe, easy, and affordable. I had a librarian networking event, meeting my professional peers for the first time. The Pearl River Delta Librarians met at Nansha Preparatory College, NCPA is at the furthest southern tip of Guangdong province just across from Shenzhen, near Hong Kong. The ride was nearly 2 hours from my apartment, but an amazing journey. I am sharing so much of my recordings because the area is currently a mix of agricultural and undeveloped land, but there is a lot of housing and industrial development. I think it is interesting for people to view progress in this area. The Greater Bay area is historic and also has an interesting future ahead. I think people from Hong Kong may move to mainland China for affordable housing. I had never seen such areas as the Shiqi area at 7:30, or the Wanda area at 11:52, and the Jinzhou area at 14:52. At 15:43 finally arrived in Nansha. All of these stops in Southern Guangzhou are very nice, they look a lot like Shenzhen, with tree-lined avenues with posh buildings. I was so pleased with myself when I got off the train at Nansha, but I was 15 minutes late to the event since I had spent so long wandering. It's fortunate that I ran into someone I know outside the school, Elva led me to safety, she is so kind. Today I was the most comfortable that I've been in China because I was with my professional peers. I am home in the library world.
