Songkran 2019 in Pattaya - Soi 6 and Soi Buakhao - Day One

Описание: Songkran has started in Pattaya, Thailand as of the 12th of April and I've filmed the first day on my GoPro. It's a great holiday full of fun, water, girls (and ladyboys), and beer. The ultimate wet t-shirt contest and waterfight. Don't get caught out though, be sure to waterproof all your belongings before you join the party.

It would also be a good idea to wear ear and eye protection as the water used isn't necessarily going to be clean so you could risk an ear or eye infection which isn't exactly pleasant.

Choice of footwear should be considered too. I don't like wearing flipflops so I stuck a pair of old Reebok trainers on but they get soaked and don't dry for ages. Maybe crocs would be a good choice.

A couple of tips on etiquette:

Don't shoot water at people who are working, for example, motorbike taxis and food carts.

Don't shoot water directly inside the bars, keep it outside. Inside the bars is for drinking and drying off plus there are electronics inside that could be damaged and even start a fire.
