One of the great melodies from the Rasmus Storm collection (ca. 1760). Rasmus Storm was a player from the island of Fyn, Denmark and started collecting melodies around 1760. The book is an important icon in Danish folklore and many of the tunes are still being played today. Fransk Morgenstjerne is one of those!
