Brettski and Bluff strutted into the neon-soaked casino with $2,000 burning a hole in Brettski’s pocket. But tonight, something was different. “Let’s switch it up,” Bluff said, cracking his knuckles. “I’m hitting the slots. You take the tables.”

Brettski arched an eyebrow. “You sure? Slots are your thing.”

“Exactly,” Bluff grinned. “Time to shake the system.”

They split the bankroll down the middle—$1,000 each. Bluff vanished into a sea of flashing lights and spinning reels while Brettski made a beeline for the blackjack table.

At first, things were bleak. Bluff dropped $300 in the first ten minutes chasing a buffalo bonus that never came. Brettski, meanwhile, got smacked by a cold dealer, burning through $500 in a blur of busted hands.

But just as they considered waving the white flag, the tide shifted.

Bluff hit a random jackpot on a penny slot—$800. Lights went off, music blasted, people clapped. He was back in the game. Brettski caught fire at a poker table, bluffing a rich tourist out of $600 and nailing a flush on the river.

They regrouped for a drink, adrenaline pumping. “We ride or die with the rest,” Bluff said, eyes wild.

Back to battle. Bluff max-bet a progressive and landed in the bonus round. Brettski sat at a high-stakes baccarat table, tossing in black chips like candy.

Both of them were riding a storm of highs and lows—one moment up a grand, the next down to their last hundred. The casino floor buzzed, time warped, and they barely noticed the hours slip by.

Finally, Bluff stared at the screen. One more spin. Brettski watched the dealer flip the final card. Everything hung in the balance.
And then—

A flash of lights. A gasp from the crowd.

But we’ll never know what happened next.
