COVID-19 and Cats | Feline risks of getting COVID-19 explained by a Vet

Описание: The USDA recently released a statement about a tiger that tested positive for the virus associated with COVID-19. This has resulted in increased concern over whether or not our household cats can get COVID-19. After evaluating the studies and new information surrounding this event, my professional assessment is that domesticated cats are not at an increased risk of getting COVID-19, and today I will be explaining how I came to that conclusion. We will be looking at the science behind the virus and how It infects a host cell, the case of the cat in Belgium, as well as the case of the tiger at the Bronx zoo.
