On a fairly unpleasant evening weather wise I made the decision for a last minute trip up to my local airport amid the arrival of a rare aircraft. The Ilyushin IL76, RA-76951 was arriving from Marrakesh with a broken RB211 engine of a TUI 757 which was stranded there. Not often does Luton get something like this! Well worth getting soaked for
Anyway, half way through the video you'll notice the band of heavy rain coming in, which made it difficult to see the approach at times, after the showers had passed it resulted in some great wet runway action, leading to some excellent footage.
This video includes traffic such as: Wizz Air A320's and A321's, Easyjet A319's and A320's, Ryanair 737's, a Blue Air 737, DHL A300F, TUI 757, the Ilyushin IL 76 and some private jets
