BNP is forming the government for the fifth time. BNP formed governments three more times in 1978 under the leadership of party founder Ziaur Rahman and then Begum Khaleda Zia. And for the first time, Tarique Rahman is taking over as the Prime Minister of post-July coup Bangladesh, leading the BNP to an absolute victory.
