Circuit working explanation...
1️⃣ Power ON Condition
When 12V is applied:
The resistor chain (10k–10k–10k–10k) starts charging the capacitors (47µF each).
The capacitors are connected to ground, so they charge gradually through the resistors.
Because of multiple RC stages, the voltage rises slowly and smoothly at the MOSFET gate.
This creates a time delay.
2️⃣ MOSFET Gate Charging
The final RC stage is connected to the gate of IRF3205.
As the gate voltage slowly increases,
When it reaches around 4–5V (threshold voltage), the MOSFET starts turning ON.
3️⃣ Bulb Turns ON
When the MOSFET turns ON, it connects the bulb to ground.
Current flows:
12V → Bulb → MOSFET → Ground
The bulb lights up.
4️⃣ Flashing Action
Because of the multi-stage RC network:
The capacitors charge and discharge in sequence.
This causes the gate voltage to rise and fall slowly.
The MOSFET turns ON and OFF gradually.
Result → Bulb flashes (fades ON and OFF smoothly).
The multiple RC sections increase delay time and make flashing smoother.
⏱ Flashing Speed Depends On:
Resistor value (10k)
Capacitor value (47µF)
Approximate delay per stage:
T = 10,000 × 47µF ≈ 0.47 seconds
With 4 stages → total delay ≈ 1.5 to 2 seconds (approx)
If you:
Increase capacitor → Slower flashing
Increase resistor → Slower flashing
Decrease values → Faster flashing
