Описание: Victor Feldman (1934–1987) was a British jazz pianist, vibraphonist, and drummer renowned for his versatility and contribution to both jazz and popular music. A child prodigy, Feldman began performing professionally at age seven and gained early fame in the United Kingdom as a drummer. He later shifted his focus to the piano and vibraphone, becoming a leading figure in the British modern jazz scene during the 1950s.

In 1957, Feldman moved to the United States, where his career flourished. He worked with jazz legends such as Miles Davis, Cannonball Adderley, and Shelly Manne. His composition "Seven Steps to Heaven" became a jazz standard after Davis recorded it in 1963. Feldman was also a highly sought-after session musician, contributing to albums by artists like Steely Dan, Joni Mitchell, and Frank Zappa.

Known for his impeccable technique and melodic sensibility, Feldman seamlessly blended bebop, swing, and contemporary styles. His influence extended beyond jazz, cementing his legacy as one of the most versatile and respected musicians of his era.
